The main function of the TP zone / line coupler ITR901-002 is to connect two KNX TP lines (main line and sub line), providing galvanic isolation in between. Due to its flexibility, the ITR901-002 coupler unit can be used as a KNX line coupler or KNX zone coupler (to connect a TP line to a TP zone or backbone) or a KNX repeater (without filtering). Operational states and filtering states, malfunctions and malfunctions are indicated via LEDs.
ITR901-002 can filter traffic depending on the mounting location and group configuration in the bus system hierarchy. The ITR901-002 supports long messages (up to 240 bytes APDU length) and features for commissioning / fault detection, as a configurable « Manual Function » with auto shut off and activation at the press of a button to temporarily disable filtering.
