The central power supply unit is an essential element for any Touch Line installation . Through its constructive and functional characteristics, the central video unit has a decisive role in the interconnection, programming and operation of all the elements of the video intercom system:
- Power supply of the entire installation: 13.5 V / 2 Ac.c.
- Direct connections for 3 apartments (3 Families)
- Distinct connections for several types of yala and exit button
- Distinctive connections for an additional external camcorder
- Distinctive connections for auxiliary control: car gate, garage door, lighting system
- Possibility to connect a video recorder (DVR)
- Permanent diagnosis of system operation and multiple light signals
- Short circuit protections for all connected products
- Button to enter the programming mode of the installation parameters
The central video unit with 3 outputs is used in the villa installations with 2 and 3 Families.
Being the product that connects directly to the electricity network, the central video power supply unit is made in accordance with the international standards of electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility and flammability. Thus, the housing is injected from fireproof ABS, which ensures complete fire protection, and the printed circuit board is UL certified.
Mounting can be done on the DIN rail or on the surface.
The main functions of the central video power supply unit with 3 outputs are the following:
- Power supply of the video intercom system with stabilized voltage of 13.5 V / 2 Ac.c.
- Entering the video intercom system programming mode: terminal addresses, addresses and panel settings.
- Setting the timing of the yale opening command in the interval 1 – 10 sec.
- Light signaling for:
- The mains voltage is present – 110 – 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz – green LED
- Present stabilized voltage 13.5 V / 2 A dc – green LED
- Presence and signaling operation in good condition of a battery – green LED
- Entering the programming mode – red LED
- Diagnosis and light signaling of the operation status.
The central video power supply unit with 3 outputs is provided with direct connections for:
- Power supply network: 110 – 230 VAC, 50 – 60 Hz
- An exterior panel
- 3 terminals – OUT1, OUT2, OUT3. Thus, the installations for 2 and 3 Families are made without additional dose.
- Separate order of 3 types of yala:
- Yala DC – 12 V / max. 1 Ac.c. At the command of the yale, the relay contact closes. For this type of yala, the central unit also provides power.
- Yala CA – max. 24 V / max. 5 Ac.a. At the command of the yale, the relay contact closes. Requires voltage transformer or independent power supply for yale with a supply current of 1 – 5 Ac.c. or 1 – 5 Ac.a.
- Retention yala – max. 24 V / max. 5Ac.c. When the yale is controlled or the supply voltage disappears (110 – 230 VAC), the relay contact opens. Requires independent power supply.
- Yala opening button, placed inside the protected area (usually for retention yala)
- An analog external video camera
- An auxiliary control for opening the car gate, garage door, light or any other automation. The capacity of the auxiliary relay is for actuators at max. 24 Vdc / ca max. 5 Ac.c./ ca
- A battery, being ensured including its charging.
The central video power supply unit with 3 outputs is provided with the following types of protections:
- Short-circuit protection, diagnosis and light signaling on any of the outputs of the operation status – panel, terminals and DC yala
- Overload protection (current greater than 0.75 A) and insulation of the fault from the rest of the installation – panel, terminals and DC yala
- Battery overload protection (current greater than 0.4 Ac.c.)
- Protection against reverse polarity of the battery.
The PROG button ensures the programming of all the components of the installation.
The settings made in the central unit are the following:
- Yale timing in the interval 1 – 10 sec.
- Additional external camcorder operation (CMOS, CCD)
- Permanent operation of the camcorder from the outside panel and recording images on a DVR device
Besides the main elements of a video intercom system, respectively external panel, terminal and yala, the central unit is provided with direct connections for other additional devices:
- A battery for safety power supply
- An auxiliary automation: car door or garage door opening, exterior lighting on
- An analog external video camera
- A dose of video selection, through which up to 3 additional panels or 4 additional external video cameras can be connected
- A video recorder (DVR) for recording images.
